LoadingTwenty-two years of coaching, most of it with people who want to stay strong for another twenty. Aaron builds programmes around what a joint will tolerate every week, not once.

Aaron has been coaching since 2004, long enough to have watched several training fashions arrive and leave. He works mainly with lifters in their forties and fifties who want the strength without the six-week injury cycles that used to come with it.
His programmes look conservative on paper and are relentless in practice: tendon-friendly loading ranges, tightly controlled progressions, and a hard rule that nothing gets added while something still hurts.
He holds an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist credential and coaches the Saturday morning session on the strength hall floor.
